I knew when I met Rebecca and Clay at their engagement session that their wedding day would be incredibly sweet, and I wasn’t disappointed! These two love each other something FIERCE. I have so many favorite moments and no clue where to start!!!
I’ll limit myself to only sharing my top 2:
- Before their first look, I was setting Clay up in the right place so Rebecca could come out of the bridal cottage without him seeing her. Mind you, she is no where in sight. All I said was, “Oh my goodness Clay, she looks so beautiful.” His eyes were FULL of tears from just those 4 words… I’ll let you imagine how he was when he actually saw her!!! Easily one of my favorite first look reactions to date.
- When we got to the church before the ceremony, they exchanged letters and wedding gifts separately. Rebecca was Clay’s waitress at Chilis the night that they met. He left his number on the receipt that night. But, plot twist: he left the wrong number – hahahah! So he had to come back inside and give her the correct one. Rebecca told him that she had thrown the receipt away, but she secretly hid it in a book. She said he wouldn’t ever find it there because he doesn’t read! She had it framed and gave it to him as a wedding gift. Safe to say, he was caught completely off guard and the tears streamed.
Mr. + Mrs. Paulk, I wish you nothing but a lifetime of happiness!!! <3
